Academic Support Program 
In order to optimize student learning, St. David's School offers the Academic Support
Program to qualified students. Highly trained learning specialists will work with
students on a weekly basis to provide curriculum-based services. The goal of the
program is to support students in their academic endeavors at St. David's School
while fostering independent learning for a lifetime.
Services Offered
For Lower, Middle and Upper School Students:
- Individual Reading Instruction: Two 45-minute sessions
per week comprised of systematic, multi-sensory reading instruction targeting phonics,
fluency, and comprehension skills.
Cost: $1,600 per semester
- Individual Curriculum Intervention: Two 45-minute sessions
per week consisting of academic skill-building and strategy intervention.
Cost: $1,600 per semester
Additional services will include review and supervision of classroom accommodations
as well as biannual Student Support Team meetings. The Student Support Team comprises
a student's parent, teachers, and the learning specialist.
In order to qualify for the Academic Support Program, students must
meet the following criteria:
- Documentation of a complete educational evaluation completed by a licensed psychologist, an educational therapist or a speech/language pathologist current within the past three years.
- Diagnosis of a learning disability and/or ADHD.
- Interview with students, parents and learning specialist.
Once a student is accepted into the Academic Support Program, full payment is due
upon the start of the semester and is nonrefundable. If you are interested in enrolling
